With idle rules, Canopsis generates alerts when information sources don’t have the usual throughput, based on pre-established criteria.
This feature also makes it possible to identify entities in Canopsis that have never received an event.
Alarm inactivity is defined as not receiving any events orcriticality changes concerning the alarmduring a given period.
When inactivity is detected, Canopsis can trigger a:
- Snooze
- Acknowledge
- Cancel
- Associate a ticket
- Change and lock severity
- Trigger periodic behavior
