(Automatic) correlation is the action of grouping several alarms presented to Canopsis into one, if they have a causal link between them.
Correlation can take place at three levels:
- By repository information describing links between components
- Via management rules created by users or administrators
- With control rules subject to application manager validation
While it is now possible to create meta-alarmswith predefined rules, automatic correlation makes it possible to do so using only machine learning data.
